Over twelve years, the number of UC applicants from this school has not grown noticeably. In fall 2014, 41 students applied to UC and 25 were admitted; in fall 2025, 39 applied and 29 were admitted. The largest number of applicants was in 2022, with 66. The average GPA of admitted students ranged from 3.86 to 4.11, and was 3.92 in 2025.
Taking three years together makes the changes clearer. From 2016 to 2018, the UC systemwide admission rate for Rosary Academy students was 58% (163 applicants, 95 admits); from 2023 to 2025, it rose to 68% (142 applicants, 97 admits). Over the same period, the most sought-after campuses became more selective: the three-year admission rate at UC San Diego fell from 36% (80 applications, 29 admissions) to 23% (91 applications, 21 admissions), and UC Irvine fell from 38% to 33%.
