The school publishes the following application details. A five-step process (school website, Apply page): complete the Newport Christian School inquiry form; take the entrance assessment, which for grades K-5 is an in-house NCS assessment scheduled by calling the school and for all new students in grades 6-12 is the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Examination); interview, for grades 6-12, with an administrator, the parents and the student together; receive a formal acceptance or denial by email shortly after the interview; and, for admitted families, complete registration using the enrollment checklist and pay the registration fee, with payment instructions given in the notification.

The main entry points at a K-12 school are kindergarten, grade 6 and grade 9; seats in other grades open only when a family leaves. Plan on a 12-month runway: visit in the fall, submit materials and test in the winter, and receive decisions in the spring. Applications for mid-year grades can be filed at any time, but availability depends on that year’s openings.

Tuition and fees

Annual tuition for the 2026-27 school year (school website, Tuition page): Transitional Kindergarten $10,437, grades K-5 $9,912, and grades 6-12 $10,437, plus a $300 security fee. Payment in full is due August 1, 2026; families on the monthly plan pay from August through the following May. The school website also notes an LBC Active Member Tuition Rate for active registered members of Liberty Baptist Church, but says only to contact the business office and lists no amount, so the figures given here are the two published standard rates, not the member rate

The registration fee rises with the enrollment window, from $400 in January and February to $700 for July through December. Book fees: for grades TK-5, $600 if enrolled by April 30 and $800 from May 1; for grades 6-12, $750 and $900 respectively. The technology fee is $50 and the security fee is $300. Uniforms are purchased through Vicki Marsha, with polo shirts at $25 each or 4 for $90. Multi-child discounts: $500 off for two children, $2,000 for three and $5,000 for four.
