UC Transfer Data Center:Ten-Year Admission Trends
This page compiles transfer data published by the University of California Information Center (UC Infocenter): ten years of transfer admit rates at the nine undergraduate campuses, the number of students transferring to UC from every California community college, and admission results for each major at each campus. All figures come from the official dashboards and are collected again after each annual UC update.

Data Definitions
- Data Sources
- Two public Tableau dashboards from the University of California Information Center (UC Infocenter): Transfers by major (by campus and by major, fall admission) and Admissions by source school (by source community college, academic year basis). This site exports the data from the official dashboards with a script and makes no manual changes.
- Fall Term and Academic Year
- Major and campus trends use fall admission data. Community college data use an academic year basis; for example, the 2024-25 academic year includes admission for fall 2024, winter, and spring 2025. For the most recent academic year, UC usually publishes fall data first, so those figures cannot be compared directly with earlier full-year data.
- UC Systemwide Counts
- In the "UC systemwide" column, a student who applies to or is admitted by several campuses is counted once; the campus columns count each campus separately, so the campus figures add up to more than the systemwide figure.
- GPA
- Major-level data report the self-reported transfer GPA of applicants as the middle 50 percent range of admitted students; community college data report the average GPA. The two definitions differ and should not be compared directly.
- Suppressed Figures
- UC does not publish application categories with fewer than 5 students or admit and enrollment categories with fewer than 3 students; this site displays them as "—".
- Differences from Campus Websites
- UC notes that Information Center figures may differ slightly from those published by individual campuses because of differences in definitions and reporting dates. The campus guide pages on this site use figures from campus websites, while the data center uses Information Center figures; both cite their sources.
- Retrieval Dates
- Major and campus data were retrieved on September 27, 2026; community college data were retrieved on September 27, 2026.
