The Oxford Academy website shows that the seventh-grade application for the 2027-28 school year opened on September 30 at 4:00 p.m. and closes on November 3 at 3:00 p.m., and the school states that late applications will not be accepted. Irvine lies outside the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD), which operates Oxford Academy, so Irvine sixth graders apply as out-of-district applicants.

What to Do Now About the Oxford Academy Application

Prepare the documents before opening the online application. The application is completed entirely online, and paper applications are no longer accepted. The required items include fourth- and fifth-grade final report cards (with citizenship and effort marks and attendance), the state testing report, a short-answer response, residence verification, one teacher’s name and email address, and any applicable IEP or 504 Plan.

Apply with a private Gmail address that the family checks regularly. The school sends all communication by email and warns that school, student, and business accounts may block its messages.

Watch the walk-through video and register for help if needed. The recording of the October 6 virtual parent information meeting will add Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese interpretation. Families who still need help after watching the walk-through video can pre-register for an application support workshop; walk-ins are not accepted.

Oxford Academy’s courses, AP offerings, and college outcomes are covered in the Oxford Academy guide, and comparisons with other Orange County public high schools are in the Orange County Top 10 Public High Schools guide.
