Salem Lutheran School

Salem Lutheran School does not publish entrance exam requirements; contact admissions.

The school publishes the following application details. Admissions is handled by Director of Admissions Kasey Weinrich ((714) 317-7118, kweinrich@salemorange.com), and the principal is Corissa Sheets. The school website offers an online form to Schedule a Tour and a form for requesting tuition rates, but does not publish application opening dates, deadlines or entrance exam requirements for any school year (school website, Admissions page).

The website does not state an entrance test requirement, so ask the admissions office whether a test is needed, and which one, before you start preparing. Application dates are set by the school each year; ask the admissions office for the current calendar and plan backward from it.

Salem Lutheran School does not publish tuition; ask for current figures when you book a visit.

The school website does not publish tuition. The “Tuition Rates” link on the Admissions page goes to a “REQUEST TUITION RATES!” form, so parents must leave their contact information to request a quote from the school (school website, Admissions page and Tuition Rates page). This site therefore lists no amounts and no parishioner or non-parishioner rates.

Academics and programs described on the Salem Lutheran School website include:

• A dedicated STEM program, with a 1:1 device program in grades 3-8 and device use running through all subjects (school website, Academics page)
• A Fine Arts Academy covering visual arts, performing arts and Worship Arts music (school website, Explore Our School page and the school profile PDF)
• Physical education, art and music are taught by specialist teachers; grades K-4 are self-contained, grades 5-6 begin changing classes for some subjects, and grades 7-8 change classes fully (school website, Academics page)
• The school competes in the Lutheran Orange County Athletic League in flag football, basketball, volleyball and track and field (school profile PDF)
