Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine has posted its 2027-28 admissions timeline: materials for the first round of acceptances are due November 20, the first acceptances go out December 4, and further acceptances follow as space allows. The financial aid deadline for new students comes earlier, on November 1.

Who Is Affected by the Crean Lutheran High School First Round

Students and families planning to enroll at Crean Lutheran High School in fall 2027. The online application opened on July 1, 2026, and the application fee is $75, non-refundable. The website lists the following dates:

Date Item
October 13, 2026, 6:00–8:00 p.m. Athletic Information Night
November 1, 2026 Financial aid deadline for new students (submitted through FACTS)
November 20, 2026 First-round materials deadline: school records, teacher recommendations, new student interview
December 4, 2026 First round of acceptances sent
February 1, 2027 Green Card deadline for students applying through the International Admissions Department

Students who are not U.S. citizens or current Green Card holders, and students whose Green Card or other visa applications are pending, must apply through the International Admissions Department. Students who enroll through that department keep international student status, and the international tuition policies apply, for all four years.

What to Do Now About the Crean Lutheran High School Application

Submit the online application, then complete the portal checklist. After submitting, parents use the student portal to request transcripts, attendance, discipline, and immunization records from the current school, and enter the email addresses of the student’s English and math teachers, who return the recommendation forms directly to the school. The student also completes a 15-minute new student interview.

Check immunization records early. The school requires immunizations that meet California requirements, with records in English. Families with incomplete records must submit a physician’s schedule for completion by the materials deadline, or the file will not be reviewed.

Families seeking financial aid should note November 1. The school states that it awarded over $3.5 million in financial aid in the 2025-26 school year, but applications submitted after the deadline are not guaranteed a decision by the enrollment deadline.

The school’s courses, AP offerings, and college outcomes are covered in the Crean Lutheran High School guide, and comparisons with other Orange County private high schools are in the Orange County private high school guide.
