Sunny Hills High School：课程与选课规则和课程地图

Sunny Hills High School 的课程信息分散在三份官方文件里：学校发布的《2026-2027 Course Offerings》清单给出全部课程、年级限制与加州大学 A-G 类别；《Honors / AP / IB Course Expectations》给出每一门荣誉、AP 与 IB 课程的先修条件和课外时间要求；学区的《General Information and Graduation Requirements》给出选课门数、加退课与学分规则。本页先说明规则，再列出完整的课程地图。规则部分是家长最容易出错的地方。

选课规则

课程门数	9 到 11 年级每学期必须修满 6 门课；12 年级在毕业学分达标时可以只修 5 门，其中 1 门可以是 ROP 课程或社区学院课程
课表结构	常规课表是第 1 到第 6 节；学校另开设 28 门零时段（Period 0）课程与 4 门第七节课程，供需要多修的学生使用
学分上限	每学期最多 40 学分计入毕业要求；每个暑假最多 15 学分
改课	开学后前三周才受理改课，且只限六种情形：漏排毕业必修课、漏排大学要求课程、先修课不及格、专项项目（校队、管弦乐、乐队、ROP 等）、暑期已修完该课、排课错误
退课	退课不记 F 的截止时间是每学期第三周结束；第三周之后退课，成绩单上记 F，除非校长或其指定人因特殊情况另行决定
换层级	同一门课内换层级（如荣誉英语 1 转普通英语 1），或换到相近课程（如代数 2 转代数 1、西班牙语 2 转西班牙语 1），须在学期第六周结束前完成；学期结束时也可以调整。换层级不算退课
整学年承诺	选定荣誉、AP 或 IB 课程即为整学年承诺，能否转到低一层级取决于总课表是否还有空位
通过与否计分	改为只记通过与否的截止时间是第一学季和第三学季的最后一天，一经确定不能改回字母成绩；加州大学与州立大学不接受以通过与否计分的 A-G 课程
校外课程	校外教育经历须事先逐项获得批准，高中四年累计最多 40 学分可计入毕业要求，成绩不计入 GPA；ROP 课程不占这 40 学分
重修	重修课程的学分在已获学分的情况下只记为选修学分，不再满足学科最低学分要求

毕业还要求在校修满八个学期，最后两个学期每学期至少 5 门课、合计至少 40 学分。在初中修完代数 1 可以免修代数 1，但 30 学分的数学要求不变。需要偏离毕业要求的学生，须由家长与辅导员共同审阅一份替代方案申请，报校长批准。

毕业要求和大学申请要求是两套标准。毕业只需成绩及格，而加州大学与州立大学的 A-G 课程要求成绩 C 以上；毕业的科学只要两年，A-G 要求两年实验科学并建议修到第三年；毕业的外语、艺术与职业技术课三选一即可，A-G 要求同一门外语修满两年、另外单独要求一年视觉或表演艺术。加州大学还要求至少完成 15 门 A-G 课程、其中 11 门在 12 年级之前完成，A-G 课程的 GPA 在 3.0 以上。

各学科的课程层级

以下路径中，CP 指普通班（College Prep，即非荣誉、非 AP、非 IB 的常规课程）。

英语

9 年级：英语 1（English 1）或荣誉英语 1（English 1 Honors），后者需通过荣誉与 Pre-IB 分班考试，并在 8 年级荣誉英语拿到 A 或 B、或普通英语拿到 A
10 年级：英语 2（English 2）或荣誉英语 2（English 2 Honors），后者需荣誉英语 1 A、B 或普通英语 1 得 A，并提交写作样本
11 年级：英语 3（English 3）、AP 英语语言（English Language），或 IB 英语文学 HL 第一年（English IB HL 1）
12 年级：AP 英语文学（English Literature）、IB 英语文学 HL 第二年、加州州立大学写作课（CSU ERWC），或两门 12 年级英语学期课组合（英国文学、加州文学、世界文学、小说、现代戏剧、神话与幻想文学、圣经文学）

社会科学

9 年级：世界史（World History）或 AP 人文地理（Human Geography），后者在 9 年级需通过荣誉分班考试
10 年级：世界史（World History）或 AP 欧洲史（European History）；10 年级起还可以修 AP 心理学（Psychology）
11 年级：美国史（US History）、AP 美国历史（US History），或 IB 经济 HL 第一年（Economics IB HL 1）。IB 文凭候选人的美洲史 HL 第一年就是 AP 美国历史这门课
12 年级：美国政府（American Government）加经济（Economics）两门学期课，或 AP 美国政府（American Government）加 AP 宏观经济（Macroeconomics），或 IB 经济 HL 第二年加美洲史 IB HL 第二年。美洲史 IB HL 第二年可满足 5 学分的政府课毕业要求

科学（普通序列）

9 年级：生物（Biology）或农业生物（Agricultural Biology）

韩语的安排值得单独说明。College Board 没有韩语 AP 科目，所以 Sunny Hills High School 的韩语最高层级是 IB 韩语高级课程（Korean IB HL），而不是 AP。学校为韩语设了两道跳级通道：准 9 年级学生可以参加入学考试直接进入韩语 2；10 年级韩语 2 拿到 A 的学生在教师推荐下可参加挑战考试，通过后跳过韩语 3 直接进入 IB 韩语标准课程。2025 届有 39 名学生凭韩语拿到加州双语印章（Seal of Biliteracy），是四种语言中除西班牙语外最多的。

IB 文凭项目的课程结构

IB 课程只对文凭候选人开放，不能像 AP 那样单门挑选。

文凭候选人在 11 到 12 年级修 3 门高级（HL）课程与 3 门标准（SL）课程
知识论（Theory of Knowledge，TOK）在 11 年级春季学期与 12 年级秋季学期修读
完成一篇不超过 4,000 字的拓展论文（Extended Essay），从 11 年级春季写到 12 年级秋季
完成创意、行动与服务（Creativity, Activity, Service，CAS）要求
IB 课程只对文凭候选人开放；不申请文凭的学生按单科证书（Course）方式参加考试
美洲史 IB HL 第一年与 AP 美国历史（US History）是同一门课，同时准备两场考试
评分为 1 到 7 分，4 分为通过；满分 45 分，其中 6 门课最多 42 分，知识论与拓展论文另计 3 分

Sunny Hills High School 一个学期最多能修几门课？

Sunny Hills High School 的常规课表是第 1 到第 6 节，9 到 11 年级每学期必须修满 6 门课，12 年级在毕业学分达标时可以只修 5 门，其中 1 门可以是 ROP 课程或社区学院课程。学校另开设 28 门零时段（Period 0，7:27 开始）课程与 4 门第七节课程，想多修一门的学生通过这两个时段安排。学区规定每学期最多 40 学分计入毕业要求。

在 Sunny Hills High School，如果荣誉或 AP 课程跟不上，什么时候可以降到普通班？

Sunny Hills High School 把退课和换层级分成两件事。退课不记 F 的截止时间是每学期第三周结束，第三周之后退课成绩单上记 F。同一门课内换层级，例如荣誉英语 1 转普通英语 1，或换到相近课程，例如代数 2 转代数 1，须在学期第六周结束前完成，学期结束时也可以调整。需要注意的是，选定荣誉、AP 或 IB 课程即为整学年承诺，能否转到低一层级还要看总课表是否有空位。

在校外或社区学院修的课程能记入 Sunny Hills High School 的成绩单吗？

要看途径。校外教育经历须事先逐项获得批准，高中四年累计最多 40 学分可计入 Sunny Hills High School 的毕业要求，但成绩不计入 GPA；ROP 课程不占这 40 学分。通过特许入学（Special Admit）修读的社区学院课程，学分不记入高中成绩单。符合条件的学生也可以在常规上课时段修早期大学（Early College）课程，那类课程既算高中毕业学分，也是可转入加州大学与州立大学的大学学分。

不一样。这所学校不属于尔湾联合学区，是富勒顿联合高中学区（FJUHSD）的学校，按学区规定需要 217.5 学分毕业，科学只要 2 年、外语与艺术或职业技术课三选一修 1 年即可。加州大学的 A-G 要求更高：科学要 2 年实验科学并建议修到第三年，外语要求同一门修满 2 年、建议 3 年以上，视觉与表演艺术单独要求 1 年，并且每门课都要 C 以上、A-G 课程的 GPA 要 3.0 以上。选课时应当按 A-G 的标准安排，而不是按毕业学分安排。EDUBUS 的顾问在尔湾，可以帮忙比较两地的毕业要求与 A-G 差距。

不是。Sunny Hills High School 每年 1 月为准 9 年级学生举行一次线上的荣誉与 Pre-IB 分班考试，考试结果用于荣誉英语 1、荣誉几何、荣誉生物与 AP 人文地理的分班；错过窗口的学生仍可以在注册时与辅导员商量是否进入荣誉课程。入学之后，每一级荣誉课程都有自己的成绩门槛，例如荣誉代数 2 要求荣誉几何 C+ 以上或普通几何与代数 1 均为 A，学生可以在任何一年通过成绩进入或退出荣誉序列。
